Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The stage she appeared in was several productions as a student such as the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances as a guest in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. She then played Elisha, an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in the six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi part on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in the series 2 and 3. Madekwe starred as the lead character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy that was released in 2008. Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport in the ABC Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just 2 weeks at The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge during two seasons. In May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the very first series of the 3rd. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with Madekwe in Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in the large family. She was born to Roy and Patty Leggat. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty as well her older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were each of them extremely athletic, played hockey during the winters and baseball in the summers, meaning they grew up mostly in baseball and arenas. Ashley never actually walked -she danced, so at the age of just two years old, she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley began to be a dancer following this. Ashley was a dancer who competed throughout the various divisions until she finished high school. She was a competitor in ballet, jazz, tap and pointe, as well as acrobatics. All of the major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the honor of "top Soloist".
