Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat were defeated within the first minutes. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as an amateur were affected. Ladd returned from the loss, and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen took on McGill by wrestling her to the ground and eventually defeated her in the third round by TKO. Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd failed to meet weight. But, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina as she pound her down for a second-round TKO victory. She continued her dominance and picked up a more impressive victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd won over Evinger during the first round as well as a win of the night's bonus. Her debut fight was with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on a battle of back and forth that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her record of wins. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement, she was able to take on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
